Types of containers

- Dry Box: It´s the most used container and the first created. It’s a totally closed container, with doors only on the back and it is adequate for dry cargo transportation, like clothe, furniture, shoes, etc.

-Bulk Container: It´s a totally closed container, with openings on the ceiling. It´s used for transporting cargoes like agriculture products.

-Ventilated: This kind of container is used for cargoes that need air circulation. – ok

-Reefer: It´s totally closed with doors on the back. It´s appropriate for cargoes that needs temperature controlling. Examples of cargoes transported in the reefer container: milk, frozen in general.

-Open Top: It´s a container with no ceiling. It´s used to board cargoes which have difficulty entering through the back door, given the height.

-Half Height: It´s a container with no ceiling. Used for transporting minerals.

-Open Side: This kind of container doesn´t has a side wall, because it´s adequate for cargoes that exceeds in width.

-Flat Rack: Container without side walls and ceiling. It´s proper for big and heavy cargoes.

-Platform: Container without side walls, headlands and ceiling, only the floor. Proper for big dimensional cargoes and heavy cargoes.

-Tank: Tank container, proper for transporting liquids in general.
